Job summary

BayCare Health System in Plant City, FL, is seeking a Biomedical Eng Tech III to join the Clinical Engineering team. This role involves managing daily shop operations and delivering repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance for medical treatment and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• 4 years - Biomedical Maintenance; OR 4 years - Electronics; OR 10 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program.
• Technical training in electronics or biomedical fields is preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily operations of the clinical engineering shop and maintain medical equipment.
• Repair, calibrate and service diagnostic equipment to ensure device availability for patient care.

• Facility: BayCare Health System, Clinical Engineering- SFBH

• Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital (Plant City, FL)

• Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

• Shift Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

• Weekend Work: Occasional

• On Call: Yes

Summary:

• Responsible for administering the daily operations of the assigned clinical engineering shop and providing repair, calibration and maintenance services to medical treatment and diagnostic equipment and to provide BayCare with properly functioning equipment necessary to complete its charge of being a healthcare provider.

• Perform these tasks alone or with minimum supervision, in a manner which is consistent with the values and mission of BayCare Health System.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years - Biomedical Maintenance; OR

• 4 years - Electronics; OR

• 10 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program

Education:

• Technical - Electronics; OR

• Technical - Biomedical
