Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Electronics Technician to maintain, repair, and place biomedical equipment across the Main Campus. The role participates in quality improvement and safety reporting while complying with safety programs to ensure a hazard-free environment for patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have an AS in Biomedical Technology or equivalent, CBET certification or military BMET training, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in a related field (BMET/engineering/phys, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in Biomedical Tech or related field.
• Proficient in using computer for data entry and reports.
• Strong communication skills.
• Networking skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and placement of biomedical equipment within the hospital.
• Participate in tracking systems for quality improvement and safety reporting.
• Comply with safety management program to provide a hazard-free environment and reduce risk of injury.
