Job summary

Stereotaxis in Minneapolis seeks a Design Engineer I to join our medical device team. You will work with cross-functional groups to guide development, manufacturing, and documentation of catheters and accessories, supporting compliant engineering processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years' experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with process validation.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements product and process development plans including verification and validation activities to achieve company objectives for products and services.
  • Direct and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure objectives are met.
  • Develops requirements and executes equipment installation and qualification plans in collaboration with operations and quality personnel.
  • Responsible for product design, development and production of catheters and accessories.
  • Assists other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
