Job summary

Binsons is seeking a BioMed Technician (Maintenance) to clean, test, and maintain biomedical equipment in accordance with accreditation standards. You will handle testing, minor repairs, and ensure equipment readiness for internal departments.

The role requires meticulous cleaning/disinfection protocols, hands-on use of diagnostic tools, and a commitment to quality control to prevent non-conforming equipment from leaving the testing area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, with a meticulous approach to maintaining safe, sterile, and hygienic equipment.
• Working knowledge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, as well as a solid understanding of how to use various tools and equipment.
• High standard of quality control to ensure no equipment leaves the testing area without meeting strict accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to required accreditation standards.
• Actively test equipment to identify issues and troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment using the appropriate tools to restore full functionality.
• Promptly fill equipment orders requested by internal departments.
• Coordinate and transfer any equipment needed by other company locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, keeping testing equipment and inventory properly stored each day.
