Job summary

Med One Group in Draper, UT is seeking a Biomed Repair Technician to inspect, repair, calibrate, and maintain hospital equipment. The role is full-time, on-site, with a daytime schedule and hourly compensation of $25–$40 (DOE).

You will work with infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and related devices. The position requires an Associate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology and 4–5 years of hands-on repair experience, plus the ability to read

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field is required.
• 4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment (infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds).
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation.
• Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• English literacy (reading/writing) required.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, and verify the functionality of medical equipment; perform measurements for accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity.
• Assemble, clean, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of medical equipment (infusion pumps, monitors, ventilators, beds).
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
• Complete manufacturer training, certifications, and other recommended courses to maintain technical expertise.
• Maintain service records and documentation for repairs, inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with delivery, installation, setup, and troubleshooting of equipment at hospitals and facilities.
