Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or Science Education.
• Experience teaching biology at middle or high school.
• Private/independent school experience preferred.
• Hands-on experiments and lab activities experience.
• AP/IB biology experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of physics concepts.
• Familiarity with LMS and digital resources to enhance learning.
• Ability to integrate technology into biology instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging biology lessons for varied levels.
• Use diverse teaching methods including lectures and experiments.
• Foster a positive learning environment encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
