The Biology Unit of the Natural Sciences Department at Hostos Community College, part of The City University of New York, invites applications for a biology faculty position. You will teach undergraduates, conduct research, and develop specialized courses in biology while mentoring students. Essential duties include in-person teaching, coordinating with colleagues, and providing advisement.

A Ph.D. in Biology and ability to work with a diverse student body are required; evening/weekend teaching

Competenze

• Ph.D. in Biology with specialization in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology or equivalent sub-discipline.
• Ability to teach successfully and demonstrated scholarship or achievement.
• Ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
