YO AI Labs is seeking a Computational Biology & Bioinformatics Expert (PhD) to support an AI training project focused on biological data analysis, scientific workflows, and AI model evaluation. The role is contractor-based and fully remote worldwide.

Applicants should have a PhD in bioinformatics or related field, experience with genomics datasets, Python or R, and proficiency in Linux and workflow tools such as Nextflow or Snakemake. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field, or equivalent industry/research experience.
• Hands-on experience analyzing biological data.
• Strong Python/R programming and analytical skills.
• Professional English proficiency (C1 or higher).
• Experience with AI/ML-assisted biology, structural biology, or drug discovery is preferred.
