Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Biology Subject Matter Expert to help train AI models by creating advanced biology questions and model evaluation criteria. The role emphasizes rigorous scientific reasoning, clear written explanations, and independent, remote work with flexible hours.

You will contribute to benchmarking AI performance across cellular biology to biotech topics. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Biology or related field and can deliver precise, well-structured feedback on AI

Qualifications

Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry required.
Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving across advanced biology topics.
Clear written communication of complex concepts.
Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluation and feedback.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

Design challenging biology questions to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance.
Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise scientific logic.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth and quality of reasoning.
Identify gaps and weaknesses in AI outputs from undergraduate to Masters level biology.
Collaborate with researchers to refine evaluation benchmarks and improve model performance.
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
