Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Biologist / Project Manager to support renewable energy, transmission, battery storage, and other infrastructure projects across the United States. The role will manage biological resource projects from proposal development through completion, providing leadership on wildlife, wetlands, permitting, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Wildlife Science or Environmental Science.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in environmental consulting and biological resources management.
  • Proven project management experience with budgets, schedules, and teams.
  • Experience with environmental permitting and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage biological resource and environmental permitting projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Support proposal preparation, staffing plans, and project forecasting.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
