This position is in the Office of the Administrator (AO), Office of Applied Science and Environmental Solutions, Coastal Science Solutions Division, Great Lakes Coastal Science Branch. About this organization: AO. This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.
You will: Manage a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) plan for the organization, to include development, implementation, modification, innovation, and alteration of standard practices. Develop and implement QA policies and procedures, including acceptance of performance criteria for data collection, including evaluation of databases and models Conduct the organization's internal and extramural audits. Act as a Project Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative, or Work Assignment Manager for grants, cooperative agreements, interagency agreements, cooperative research and development agreements, contracts, or other instruments. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
