Job summary

CareTechPros is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to design and implement computational methods for analyzing complex biological data, including genomics and transcriptomics. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (or a Master’s with equivalent experience), strong programming skills in Python/R/Perl, and a passion for translating biological data

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, or Perl and experience with bioinformatics software/tools.
• Familiarity with genomics data sources, databases, and analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing high-throughput data (RNA-seq, DNA-seq, etc.).

• Perform data quality control, preprocessing, and statistical analysis of biological datasets.
• Generate biological insights from data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to the team.
