Overview

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Bioinformatics Programmer 2 to join the Neuromodulation Division. You will support innovative research initiatives at the intersection of neuroscience, data science, artificial intelligence, and computational research. You will collaborate with investigators and research teams to develop, analyze, and optimize computational tools, datasets, and research technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and support computational and data science tools for research projects
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical and data analytics techniques
  • Clean, manage, and prepare research data (including electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)) for analysis
  • Assist with algorithm development, optimization, and software implementation
  • Support research involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing technologies
  • Collaborate with investigators and multidisciplinary research teams on study design, data analysis, and technology solutions
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot research software, computational workflows, and data systems
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of research applications and tools
Compensation

Salary range: $39.48/hr - $82.27/hr
