The ideal candidate has an advanced degree (MS or PhD) and at least three years of patent prosecution experience, with excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Remote or hybrid options may be considered, and admission to the state bar in the primary office location is required.

Qualifications

• Strong educational and/or industry experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, or related field.
• Preference for advanced degree (MS or PhD) and at least three years of patent prosecution experience.
• High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patent prosecution with focus on bioinformatics, computational biology and AI.
• Prepare and draft patent applications and responses; work with inventors and clients.
• Maintain transcripts and provide writing samples as part of the process.
• Coordinate with multiple offices and legal teams on case strategy and filings.
