Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to advance collaboration, consulting, and education for physician scientists and researchers in biomedical and translational studies. You will contribute to manuscripts and bioinformatics methods, and lead bioinformatics projects under supervision while supporting core services and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two years of experience in bioinformatics consulting and analysis.
• Experience with protocol generation and grant writing, and collaboration in scientific writing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PI to select bioinformatics methods and data collection.
• Develop data analysis reports and monitor project progress.
• Contribute to manuscripts by writing methods and results sections.
• Support grant preparation with methods and data summaries.
• Consult with investigators on design and analysis of biomedical data.
• Educate staff on bioinformatics design and analyses.
• Lead bioinformatics analyses with PI and researchers.
• Collaborate with programmers on experimental design and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
