Overview
The Bioinformatician A (Sleep Medicine) position will assist with the cleaning, management, and statistical/computational analysis of various data sets relating to sleep and circadian biology. Under the supervision of the PI they will apply and adapt existing computational methods and present their results. Primary work will be in the analysis of transcriptomic and genomic data. This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum BS in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. MS preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in scientific programming with R, Julia, Python, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and scientific reporting skills (verbal, written, and graphical).
- Experience with analysis of transcriptomic (RNA-seq and/or microarray), genomic, and/or proteomic data is strongly preferred.
