Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, data science, computer science, or related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to the office and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computational pipelines and analytical methods for processing large-scale immunological datasets from vaccine research and development programs.
• Quality check research data entries to the electronic notebooks.
• Analyze and interpret complex biological data from genomic sequencing, proteomics, and immunological assays using Python/R and bioinformatics tools.
• Promote data quality and reproducibility while establishing best practices in computational analysis and documentation.
• Perform data visualization, statistical analysis, and documentation through notebooks and version control; participate in group meetings and present results.
• Collaborate with pre-clinical immunology groups on analytical pipeline implementations.
