Job summary

Aftermath is seeking a Technician to perform biohazard remediation and trauma cleanup in real-world situations. This hands-on role requires driving to sites, operating tools, and following strict safety and regulatory protocols to help families and communities.

You will learn procedures through comprehensive training, handle equipment maintenance, scheduling, and responsive service calls, with a hybrid pay structure and hourly base rates. A valid license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Local candidate who can respond within 1 hour of call.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive training in biohazard remediation processes.
• Comfortable with dynamic schedules and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Responsible for the proper use, care, and routine maintenance of company equipment and vehicles; promptly reports issues or needed repairs.
• Participates in training programs covering biohazard cleanup, safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and related job skills.
• Completes administrative duties including shipping/receiving, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and coordinating Stericycle pickups.
• Performs job site setup and breakdown; safely operates power tools; conducts disinfection procedures; and applies cleaning products as directed.
• Respond promptly to service calls, providing biohazard remediation services in various emergency situations.
