Job summary

Vanguard Renewables, based in Weston, Massachusetts, is seeking a Biogas Operator to perform skilled work in operating an anaerobic digester and related plant equipment. The role involves monitoring gas production, assisting contractors, and adhering to safety and procedural standards at our MA facilities.

Responsibilities include rounds, data capture, troubleshooting, and contributing to preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety programs and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in industrial or gas processing environments.
• Ability to work on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety programs and coordinates with maintenance contractors.
• Monitor gas production and record plant parameters.
• Assist outside contractors with on-site maintenance.
• Write work orders and help develop Standard Operating Procedures.
