Job summary

Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Research Coordinator (Bioethics) to support NIH-funded studies within the Ethics Team of the CP MG. The role combines independent and collaborative work under the supervision of Dr. Maya Sabatello, PI.

The ideal candidate has experience with empirical research (qualitative and quantitative) and knowledge of ethical, legal, and social implications in genetics/genomics. Strong communication and project coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research; familiarity with genetics/genomics ELSI topics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews related to ongoing research studies.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative data collection activities (surveys, interviews, recruitment).
• Conduct data analysis using appropriate methods and software.
• Assist with manuscript preparation, conference presentations, and dissemination of findings.
