Job summary

Mendel Science Center seeks a Program Assistant CBEST to support biodiversity initiatives and online media content creation. Flex hours 5-10 per week; work-study preferred but open to all students. Some greenhouse work and public engagement tasks may be involved.

The role offers hands-on experience in campus biodiversity projects, assistance with social media, and collaboration with staff in the Center for Biodiversity & Ecosystems. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Image manipulation skills (Photoshop/Illustrator experience) highly desired.
• A love of plants/biodiversity a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Position will require flexibility: including helping to create online media content, involvement with Biodiversity initiatives on campus, and some greenhouse work.
• A sense of humor and willingness to learn new skills appreciated.
