Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services seeks a Technical Director - Biocompatibility to lead PSL's medical device biological evaluation program. You will guide scientific strategy, oversee studies and liaise with clients to drive growth across North America.

The role requires senior leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with Eurofins teams while supporting remote operations and travel to client sites and conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biology, toxicology, biomedical engineering, materials science or related field.
• 10+ years in medical device biocompatibility, regulatory science or related area.
• Experience recognized as SME in biocompatibility or biological evaluation.
• Familiarity with ISO 10993 series and risk management processes.
• Knowledge of FDA guidance, EU MDR and GLP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, strategic and commercial leadership for PSL biocompatibility operations.
• Collaborate with Study Directors, lab management and business development to grow services.
• Represent PSL in client engagements, conferences and industry activities.
• Mentor staff and drive expansion of services and profitable growth.
