Phelps Health in Rolla, MO, is seeking a Bio-Medical Engineering Technician to maintain, repair, and safety-test general clinical equipment across our healthcare system.
You will document work, coordinate outside repairs, and support training for equipment users while upholding safety standards. Strong preference for CBET certification and 3–5 years of bio-medical experience; associates degree or vocational training preferred.

The Bio-Med Engineering Technician works independently on repairs, safety testing and preventive maintenance of general clinical equipment. Maintains equipment records, writes reports, and coordinates outside repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or equivalent experience including a diploma program (i.e. Military Training, Technical school, etc.) preferred.
Three to five years of bio-medical experience preferred.
CBET-Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician preferred.
Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, squatting, kneeling and lifting ability up to 75 lbs. good eye sight and a steady hand, perform under stress.
May come in contact with patients. Will encounter unpleasant conditions and exposure to heat, cold, noise, dirt, inclement weather, chemicals and gases, water, fumes, overhead pipes, infectious disease or hazardous waste. Some overnight travel may be required for training purposes.
