Job summary

Walsworth in Marceline, MO is seeking a Bindery - Assistant to support day-to-day operations across Bindery equipment. You will assist skilled workers, handle materials, prepare workstations and uphold safety standards.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, read and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with team members. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn computer applications.
• Able to read, interpret and follow written instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including customer service.
• Willing to work overtime beyond 40-hour workweek when production requires.
• Flexible, dependable and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, staging and loading products.
• Assist machine operators with job set-up and basic tasks as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas by sweeping, disposing of waste and maintaining supply levels.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and as directed.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
