Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the Bindery to help produce books, catalogs and printed materials. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment. 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM. Full‑time with competitive pay and overtime opportunities.

You'll learn setup, run and maintain bindery machines, monitor quality, and work with a team to meet daily goals while following safety procedures in a busy factory environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work and work well with a team.
• We’ll train you for bindery equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run and maintain small bindery equipment, including sewers, drills, shrink wrap, board cutter, box maker and mechanical binding.
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
