Walsworth in Ripon, WI is seeking a Bindery Operator III for the 1st shift. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain bindery equipment such as tippers, sewers, inserters, reinforcers and forklifts to meet production schedules.

You must have a HS diploma, at least 30 days in a bindery role, and be able to read instructions, work in a team, and communicate clearly. Proficiency with AS400 or Monarch is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Job Details: Job Location: Ripon - Ripon, WI 54971, Position Type: Hourly - Production, Job Shift: 1st Shift- Day, Job Summary:

As a Bindery - Operator III you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable equipment. The equipment operated includes, but is not limited to: Tippers, Sewers, Inserters, Reinforcers and Forklifts.

Essential Functions

• Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
• Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Maintain accurate counts.
• Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
• Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
• Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
• All other duties as assigned.
