Impact Connects in Minneapolis seeks a Machine Operator/Bindery Operator I to support the 2nd shift on the Print Production team. You will operate entry-level bindery equipment and help meet daily production schedules.

Following SOPs and safety guidelines, you will monitor quality, document work, and learn Midnight and APT systems. This role offers growth in a manufacturing setting with teamwork and safety at its core.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months of related production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate entry-level production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate entry‑level bindery equipment including sheeters and cutters.
• Process jobs using Midnight and APT for accurate production tracking.
• Follow SOPs, safety policies, and quality control guidelines.
• Review job tickets and samples to ensure specifications.
• Inspect production output to verify quality standards.
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain alignment and output quality.
• Complete required production and quality control documentation.
• Maintain documentation and proper job tracking.
• Communicate job status and priorities during shift changeovers.
• Load materials and adjust feeds, speeds, and controls as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with general bindery tasks.
