Job summary

Johnson & Quin Inc. is seeking a Bindery Operator for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to ensure precise handling of direct mail components from high-speed folding machines, with strict adherence to job tickets and quality checks before final production.

The role requires experience with folding equipment, ability to read small type, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Onsite full-time position with shifting hours and manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating folding equipment.
• Experience with MBO high-speed folders is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic math and measurement reading.
• Able to read 8-point font and maintain sequence.

Responsibilities

• Log into Monarch terminal at start and end of each job to document times and quantities.
• Interpret job tickets to match codes and sequence numbers and ensure quality.
• Provide sample piece for final approval before production.
• Match stock to ticket, fold pieces, and reload into hoppers; ensure correct components.
• Use skid flags to identify pieces with mail trays and follow tray break markings.
• May work in Affixing, Folding, Cutting, or Die-Cutting areas.
• Complete other duties as assigned and adhere to security policies.
