Job summary

Moore in Frederick, MD is seeking a Bindery Helper to support production operations by preparing and finishing printed materials to established quality standards. You will help maintain workflow, ensure production quality, and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.

The role requires attention to detail in a fast-paced setting, with overtime and weekend availability. Pay is $16.00 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Up to one month of related experience or training preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Catch and band all types and sizes of materials coming off folders.
• Assemble boxes and power packs before and during production runs.
• Read and follow instructions on bindery job jackets.
• Enter job information into the PSI system at the start and completion of each job.
• Stock worktables with necessary materials (bands, tape, load tickets, rubber bands).
• Maintain a clean and organized bindery area.
• Move materials to designated locations using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Work overtime and weekends as required based on production needs.
• Review and understand job instructions prior to starting work.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
• Obtain job approval from a supervisor or lead operator.
• Minimize material waste.
