Job summary

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our production team in Monroe Township, NJ. You will operate printing press equipment, monitor product quality, and help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. Shift is Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm.

You must be able to adjust equipment, perform basic math, and read job instructions. Physical work includes lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specs and quality standards.
• Perform equipment maintenance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency.
• Verify paper type/size/color/quantity before production.
• Check printing plates for correct format and quality.
• Inspect printed materials to ensure quality throughout production.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate printing press equipment, monitor product quality, and help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production
• Check printing plates for correct format
• Inspect printed materials throughout production to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing deadlines
• Follow all safety requirements related to the job and equipment

Your Shift:

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30p

You Must Have:

• Ability to adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances
• Mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand job instructions

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good color discernment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17-17.50. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
