Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is hiring a BIM/VDC Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of BIM/VDC activities on industrial, commercial, manufacturing, energy, and data center projects.

The role partners with project managers, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to develop coordinated models that improve efficiency and reduce rework. Location options include Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of BIM coordination experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Newton tools and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and coordinate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
• Produce construction drawings, model reports, and coordination deliverables.
• Support model-based planning and constructability reviews.
• Assist with reality capture activities when applicable.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with BIM Execution Plans.
