GBA in Lenexa, KS is seeking a BIM Specialist to lead model coordination, establish BEPs and standards, and support project teams from kickoff through closeout. You will set up projects in Revit, manage worksets, guard model quality, and resolve clashes while collaborating with PMs, architects, engineers and contractors.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years BIM/Revit experience, strong Revit skills, and comfort guiding teams with cloud collaboration and content creation.
Great project delivery starts with great coordination. At GBA, our BIM Specialists help make that happen by creating the structure, standards, and support that allow multidisciplinary teams to work together effectively from project kickoff through closeout.

We're looking for a BIM Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping project teams work smarter, and making sure the technology behind our designs works the way it should.
In this role, you'll be more than a Revit resource. You'll help establish projects for success, maintain BIM standards and execution plans, coordinate models, identify clashes before they become bigger problems, support cloud-based collaboration, and be a trusted resource for designers when they need help.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, the BIM Manager, architects, engineers, and construction partners while gaining exposure to projects across disciplines and throughout the full project lifecycle.
Your work will help our teams spend less time troubleshooting models and more time designing great projects.
You'll bring organization and consistency to BIM workflows, help multidisciplinary teams stay coordinated as designs evolve, and provide practical Revit support when project teams need it most.
Whether you're setting up a new project, resolving a coordination issue, building a project-specific family, or helping improve a BIM process across GBA, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on both individual projects and the way our teams work.
You'll likely enjoy this role if you're someone who sees a modeling or coordination problem and wants to figure out how to solve it, not just work around it.
You enjoy helping others use technology effectively, can explain technical concepts in a way that makes sense, and are comfortable working with everyone from designers and engineers to Project Managers and construction partners.
At GBA, you won't be working in a silo. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, Project Managers, and other professionals who rely on BIM to bring complex projects to life.
You'll have the opportunity to support projects from kickoff through closeout, solve real project challenges, expand your technical expertise, and help influence how BIM tools and processes are used across our teams.
We value people who are curious, collaborative, dependable, and willing to share what they know, and we'll give you opportunities to keep learning along the way.
If you enjoy BIM technology but also enjoy the people and problem-solving side of the work, this could be a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.
