Responsibilities

• Prepares computer-generated drawings using CAD software per PCS standards.
• Manages small to medium Revit projects and creates templates and sheets.
• Interprets schematic designs to lay out models and adds detail to drawings.
• Performs medium-level modeling, supporting senior BIM techs on large projects.
• Revises drawings and performs simple calculations with guidance.
• Assists in training BIM Technician I and meets project deadlines.

PCS Structural Solutions is looking to welcome a ***BIM Tech II or III (depending on experience) ***to our Seattle or Tacoma office.

Summary Of Position

• Under general supervision, with some exercise of judgment, prepares computer-generated engineering drawings according to established standards and procedures using computer-aided design (CAD) software programs.
• Responsible for small to medium size Revit projects in accordance with PCS standards.
• Interprets schematic designs to create layout of model.
• Creates basic view, template, and sheet structures for small to medium sized projects.
• Performs medium level modeling tasks, primarily performs secondary or support modeling and detailing tasks on large projects for Senior BIM techs.
• Capable of modeling elements up to a level 300.
• Capable of creating addendums sets and sketches.
• Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings, and completes simple calculations with specific instructions.
• Meets deadlines with schedule and offers progress reports.
• Assists in the training of BIM Technician I.
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
