Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Structural Digital Design Lead to own discipline BIM models, ensure correct LOD per the Digital Delivery Plan, and deliver accurate 3D designs and drawings. You’ll coordinate with other disciplines and drive model health while maintaining standards.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in the field, proficiency in REVIT and 3D coordination tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in related field.
• Proficient in 3D design software and reference documentation.
• Knowledge of industry standards, discipline codes, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline modeling and BIM element creation using established LOD per DDP.
• Develop and maintain discipline model, systems, content, and digital delivery output.
• Work with software to produce designs per Digital Delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with other discipline models through reviews and 3D coordination.
• Prepare detailed drawings and diagrams within project scope and budget.
• Monitor and improve model health and company standards.
• Communicate clearly and coordinate across teams.
