Job summary

Newcomb and Company is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support commercial HVAC projects. You will model in Revit, perform multi-trade coordination, and produce fabrication-level drawings for duct and mechanical piping to drive shop and field operations.

You will lead clash detection with Navisworks, coordinate mechanical scopes with other trades, map structural openings, and ensure drawings are issued on schedule to support field installation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks for BIM modeling and coordination.
• Experience detailing systems for prefabrication (LOD 400).
• Strong communication for coordinating with field crews and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Create BIM models and shop drawings for ductwork and piping to LOD 400.
• Lead clash detection and multi-trade coordination meetings.
• Coordinate mechanical scopes with other trades to resolve clashes and verify field installation feasibility.
• Map structural openings and ensure drawings are issued on schedule.
