Suarez Assistant is seeking a BIM / Revit Designer — MEP in Miami, on-site. You will build and coordinate detailed Revit MEP models, and produce complete construction documents, working with engineers, architects and project managers on high-rise, hospitality and mixed-use projects.

No license or degree is required if your modeling portfolio is strong. This full-time, on-site role offers steady work in a long-established South Florida MEP firm that maintains its own BIM standards and uses cloud

• Produce complete, coordinated construction document sets from the model: plans, sections, details, schedules, sheet sets.
• Run and resolve clash detection, typically in Navisworks, and feed coordination back into the model.
• Maintain the firm's BIM standard — families, templates, view templates, worksets, filters, and shared coordinates.
• Work in a cloud-collaborated environment (BIM 360 / BIM 360) alongside the wider project team.
• Coordinate daily with engineers, architects and project managers, and take direction on design intent.

BIM / Revit Designer — MEP, Miami (On-Site)

This position is with an established South Florida MEP consulting engineering firm that has been designing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in the region for more than fifty years. The portfolio is high-rise residential, hospitality, mixed-use and institutional work, including towers currently in design and under construction in Miami. The firm designs in Revit on an in-house BIM standard it developed itself.

The Role

A BIM / Revit Designer , full time and on site in Miami. No engineering license required and no degree required if the modeling portfolio is strong. This is the widest funnel of the three seats on this account and the most accessible entry point into high-rise MEP work.

You will build and coordinate the MEP model and produce the construction documents that come out of it, working alongside the engineers, architects and project managers on the job.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain detailed Revit MEP models across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection — using real MEP systems and connectors, not just drawn geometry.
• Produce complete, coordinated construction document sets from the model: plans, sections, details, schedules and sheet sets.
• Run and resolve clash detection , typically in Navisworks, and drive the coordination back into the model.
• Maintain the firm's BIM standard — families, project templates, view templates, worksets, filters and shared coordinates against linked architectural and structural models.
• Work in a cloud-collaborated environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 or Revit Cloud Worksharing) alongside the wider project team.
• Coordinate daily with engineers, architects and project managers, and take direction on design intent.

What You Need

• Skilled, hands-on Revit — MEP specifically. This is the whole job. Architectural-only Revit experience does not transfer.
• Ability to produce a complete, coordinated construction document set, not just model geometry.
• Comfortable coordinating across disciplines and working to an established BIM standard rather than your own.
• Able to work on site in Miami, full time, and authorized to work in the United States.
• No license required. No degree required if the portfolio carries it.

Nice to Have

• Navisworks clash detection and Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 experience.
• Dynamo, or any track record of automating repetitive modeling and documentation work.
• Family creation — parametric MEP content built from scratch.
• Understanding of LOD and BIM execution plans.
• AutoCAD alongside Revit; bilingual English/Spanish; Florida or Miami-Dade project experience.
