Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Los Angeles and San Diego seeks an experienced Revit Designer to deliver innovative engineering, infrastructure, transportation, water, and building projects. You will work with engineers, architects, and project managers to transform complex ideas into coordinated digital solutions from concept through delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Revit experience, strong BIM knowledge, and the ability to produce detailed drawings and construction documents

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on Revit experience in engineering, architecture, or infrastructure.
• Strong BIM knowledge and digital project delivery experience.
• Ability to develop coordinated multidisciplinary models and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce construction documentation including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and details.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs.
• Perform model reviews, clash detection, and BIM coordination with Navisworks.
• Create and maintain Revit families, templates, and digital content libraries.
• Support BIM standards, BEPs, and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and QA processes.
• Help deliver projects on schedule with focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Share knowledge and best practices to grow the team.
• Contribute to advancement of digital delivery, automation, and innovative design.
