A leading IT staffing firm is seeking a CAD Technician to prepare 3D CAD models and assist with BIM modeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum technical school diploma or certificate in Computer Aided Drafting or 5+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include creating and verifying 3D models, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with marketing for design distributions. Qualifications

• Minimum Technical school diploma or certificate in Computer Aided Drafting or 5+ years of experience.
• Preferred: AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D CAD models and metadata entry using Autodesk Revit software.
• Assist marketing team in design and distribution of BIM models.
• Create or modify 3D models for use in architectural projects.
• Verify 3D models meet customer’s needs and adhere to Engineering Standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to troubleshoot design issues.
• Complete projects in a timely manner to meet customer due dates.
• Communicate any delays or issues to the team lead.
