Insight Global is seeking a BIM Modeler 3 in Portland, OR to produce detailed Revit models for project delivery and standards. You will create drawings, set up views, manage documents, and coordinate with field teams across trades using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field, strong modeling skills, and experience with design-build environments. Excellent collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks with strong modeling skills.
• Experience with 2D/3D modeling, layout and multi-trade coordination.
• Knowledge of worksets/worksharing and Revit collaboration tools.
• Electrical background to support trade-specific modeling and coordination.
• Familiarity with design-build environments is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop Revit models from marked-up drawings per company standards.
• Set up views, manage drawings, and archive documents.
• Prepare drawing sets and support transmittals; manage file transfers.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect intellectual property.
• Create and manage Revit worksets and support worksharing processes.
• Translate direction into accurate design documents.
• Utilize advanced Revit functions (families, views, sheets, schedules, filters).
• Import external documents into Revit.
• Coordinate 3D models across trades with field teams for layout and drawings.
• Support laser scanning efforts and model creation from scan data.
• Participate in model-driven job layout and verify dimensions with Total Station.
• Manage document transmission and support printing/reproduction.
