Job summary

System One is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team in San Jose and Sacramento. The role focuses on creating, developing, and maintaining accurate electrical BIM models for diverse projects, collaborating with engineers and design disciplines to deliver coordinated construction documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, proficiency in Revit MEP, and knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler, Electrical Revit Modeler, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
• Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and coordination workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Create electrical layouts, power plans, lighting plans, and low-voltage system models.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.

• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, client requirements, and company BIM protocols.
• Update models to reflect design revisions and field changes.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler with at least 1 year of experience to join our growing team in San Jose and Sacramento. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining accurate electrical BIM models for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional projects. This role requires collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other design disciplines to produce high-quality construction documentation and coordinated BIM models.

• Experience with commercial, healthcare, education, or industrial projects is an advantage.
