Job summary

Schnabel, Inc. is seeking a senior BIM Manager to lead the integration of multi‑disciplinary BIM applications across design projects nationwide. You will set workflow standards, lead template development, and drive best practices with designers and engineers.

Expect to train staff, stay current with BIM tech, and collaborate with IT on licensing and security. Travel to project sites and offices will be required as part of project support.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Drafting and Design or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with BIM applications: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil3D.
• Minimum 10 years of drafting/design experience in a consulting firm or production design.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and maintain workflow standards of practice for BIM.
• Develop and maintain Revit standards, templates, and libraries.
• Build and deliver an internal BIM training program with hands-on and video content.
• Train Designers and Engineers on BIM workflows and company standards.
• Coordinate licensing and security strategy with IT for BIM apps.
• Implement and manage Common Data Environments and ACC or similar platforms.
• Prepare Revit models/drawings for contract documents with design staff.
• Develop project-specific BIM execution workflows for multidisciplinary projects.
• Post-process and integrate point cloud data into BIM apps.
• Provide technical support for BIM during project execution.
