Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks an Autodesk BIM Manager - Civil3D to lead civil information modeling production and enforce firm standards across projects. This role requires coordinating data, interoperability, and workflow governance for consistent project delivery.

The position offers guidance to PMs and design teams, develops model standards, and drives automation and training efforts across Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Forma, and related platforms.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years delivering transportation projects using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D corridors, surfaces, alignments, and data exchange.
• Familiarity with BIM/CIM standards and digital delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern how Autodesk tools are configured and scaled across the firm.
• Develop firmwide Autodesk Civil 3D standards including data exchange and QA/QC.
• Provide guidance to PMs and design teams on model development and coordination.
• Lead automation efforts to enforce standards and reduce manual work.
• Create training materials and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Coordinate with leadership on rollout of new standards and version changes.
• Support complex issues as escalation point for Civil 3D and related apps.
