Formación

• Minimum 15 years in AEC with BIM management.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Expert Bentley software proficiency: OpenBuildings, MicroStation, ProjectWise.
• Proven leadership in a BIM Manager or similar role.
• Strong BIM execution plans, modeling standards, QA/QC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination across infrastructure, transportation and building projects.
• Oversee digital delivery and BIM workflows using Bentley tools (OpenBuildings, MicroStation, ProjectWise).
• Develop and implement BIM standards, execution plans, digital libraries, templates and automated workflows.
• Provide technical leadership across architectural and engineering teams.
• Review BIM deliverables for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Lead coordination meetings and resolve complex modeling and constructability challenges.
• Mentor BIM specialists and drive professional development within teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve digital workflows, efficiency and project delivery.
• Contribute to long-term BIM and digital delivery strategies.

About the Opportunity

An established engineering and design consultancy in New York is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead digital delivery and multidisciplinary BIM coordination across complex infrastructure, transportation and building projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and ambitious BIM professional looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to expand their leadership responsibilities, influence digital delivery strategies and play a key role in advancing BIM capabilities across major projects.

The successful candidate will take ownership of BIM standards, digital workflows and technical coordination, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients while contributing to the continued development of digital delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination across complex infrastructure, transportation and building projects.
• Oversee digital delivery and BIM workflows using Bentley Systems software, including OpenBuildings, MicroStation and ProjectWise.
• Develop and implement BIM standards, execution plans, digital libraries, templates and automated workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and specialist Bentley Systems expertise across architectural and engineering teams.
• Review BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards and client expectations.
• Lead coordination meetings and resolve complex modeling, design and constructability challenges.
• Work directly with clients to establish BIM deliverables, coordination procedures and digital delivery strategies.
• Mentor BIM specialists and technical teams, supporting professional development and consistent modeling practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve digital workflows, efficiency and project delivery.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term BIM and digital delivery strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry, with a strong focus on BIM management.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Bentley Systems software, particularly OpenBuildings, MicroStation and ProjectWise.
• Proven experience in a BIM Manager, Bentley BIM Manager, Digital Delivery Manager or similar leadership position.
• Strong understanding of BIM execution plans, modeling standards, quality assurance and quality control.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex architectural or engineering projects.
• Excellent technical problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide hands‑on BIM software guidance and mentor technical teams.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, transportation or transit projects would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Dynamo, C#, Python or Java would be beneficial.
• Professional BIM Management certification would be advantageous.
