Job summary

Bechtel in Chandler, AZ seeks a Senior BIM Lead to define and drive the BIM strategy for Fab 62 at Intel Ocotillo campus. You will coordinate across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and IS&T to ensure BIM alignment with BEP and project goals.

You will lead seed files, libraries, workshops with client and partners, manage third-party BIM developers, and support BD efforts in M&T lines. This role requires strong communication and data-management skills.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor0s degree or international equivalent and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
• Experience across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, IS&T for BIM and project execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve in an integrated project delivery information environment
• Experience developing project standards, class libraries, and master data management
• Experience in developing data management execution strategies and configuration control
• Experience working closely with senior client staff and JV partners or subcontractors in designing and implementing digital solutions

Responsibilities

• Define and implement BIM execution strategy
• Coordinate mobilization plan per BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and deliver kickoff meetings/workshops
• Coordinate with PIM Manager, IS&T manager and DCC manager
• Lead development of BIM project seed files, family libraries, etc.
• Conduct workshops with client, partners, and stakeholders to agree BIM requirements
• Manage relationships with third party BIM developers/implementors
• Support proposal and BD efforts in M&T business lines
• Participate in BIM/automation industry and trade organizations
• Facilitate integration of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) into BIM processes
• Conduct regular assessments to review BEP and other execution plans
• Capture lessons learned and improved workflows

Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility — a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading the implementation of the BIM strategy to support the delivery of the project. #LI-SM2

Major Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the BIM execution strategy

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Significant experienceworking across functions (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, IS&T) for BIM and project execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain new work processes and technologies to all levels of the organization
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery information environment, applying industry best practices
• Previous experience in developing project standards, class libraries, and master data management
• Experience in developing data management execution strategies and configuration control
• Experience in working closely with senior client staff and JV partners or subcontractors in designing and implementing digital solutions
