Job summary

Philkoei International, Inc. is seeking a BIM Engineer to perform QA/QC of BIM deliverables and support project teams in design reviews, estimating, and commissioning.

You will oversee model coordination and ensure client-approved BIM processes are followed. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Engineering and at least 2 years of BIM experience across pre-construction to construction phases, with strong communication and teamwork skills and proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years experience using BIM applications on projects from pre-construction to construction phase
• Demonstrated expertise in BIM applications such as Autodek Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks and NavisWorks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC of model deliverable to ensure compliance to BIM Standards
• Support the project teams in use of models for design review, change management, estimating, and commissioning
• Provide oversight of model coordination process in design and construction
• Ensure that project teams use client approved systems for managing BIM process, files and submittals correctly
• Demonstrate proficiency in software related to BIM
• Assist hands-on training of other support staff on the use of BIM software
• Perform other tasks that will be requested by the managers

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted
• 2+ years experience using BIM applications on projects from pre-construction to construction phase
• Demonstrated expertise in industry standard BIM applications, such as Autodek Revit, Civil 3D, InfraWorks and NavisWorks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment
