Job summary

WGI is offering a paid Summer internship in Austin, TX, to support the Center for Innovation team with BIM technologies, digital design workflows, and automation initiatives. The program aims to bridge classroom learning with hands-on project experience within a collaborative environment.

Interns will gain exposure to BIM standards, Revit-based tasks, and cross-department collaboration, building industry-ready skills and professional experience at a leading design consultancy.

Qualifications

• Two years of college study in Architecture, Engineering or BIM-related program is required.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and CAD tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM technologies and digital design workflows on project teams.
• Assist with BIM/CAD management tasks and automation development.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM standards and templates.
• Participate in cross-department collaboration on design and documentation.
• Support project teams with Revit-based tasks and data management.
• Ensure punctuality and adherence to company policies.
• Adapt to varied environments including indoor, outdoor, and site locations.
