Job summary

Rex Moore is seeking a VDC/BIM Detailer to convert design documents into coordinated 3D models and installation drawings for electrical projects. You will collaborate with the VDC Design and Constructability team, BIM Coordinators, and field leadership to ensure constructible, code-compliant outputs.

Qualifications

Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2+ years electrical detailing.
Knowledge of NEC codes and prefab workflows.
Proficient in Revit; exposure to Navisworks and ACC.

Responsibilities

Interpret construction documents, electrical codes, and client standards to guide detailing work that aligns with the coordinated BIM model.
Produce detailed model elements and installation drawings that support fabrication and field installation.
Apply Rex Moore’s VDC modeling standards, templates, and content libraries to ensure consistency and compliance across all deliverables.
Ensure detailing work is accurate, up to date, and aligned with project specifications, internal standards, and client expectations.
Collaborate with BIM Coordinators to ensure that modeling outputs meet coordination protocols and software standards.
Participate in constructability reviews and model coordination meetings as needed.
