PCI Dallas 114 operations in Midlothian, TX seeks an experienced Design Engineer to lead BIM/VDC modeling, coordinate with design and operations teams, and ensure clash-free deliverables. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 Design/Glue is required, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Revit work.

The role includes coordinating with field teams, performing BIM compliance checks, and contributing to process improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred or 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.
• Portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF Software.
• Understanding of design and document coordination.
• Willingness to improve processes and work methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, team player, and able to handle pressure.

Mansioni

• Attend kickoff meeting to confirm scope and contract requirements before modeling.
• Create 3D models utilizing Revit.
• Participate in BIM coordination and design meetings.
• Develop and model scopes (walls, ceilings, panels, raised floors, clean rooms).
• Coordinate with point cloud files and ensure model coordination.
• Escalate issues to BIM Coordinator and team; perform BIM compliance checks.
• QC models against project documents and resolve clashes with Navisworks.
• Attend staff training and maintain project-specific BIM content.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC providers and clients.
• Produce install drawings and layout files; organize CAD/Navisworks files.
