Job summary

Hansen Consulting Group LLC is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support coordination, integration, and execution of BIM workflows on complex construction projects. You will work with engineering, design, construction, prefabrication, and QA/QC teams to ensure accurate, coordinated models aligned with project requirements.

The role bridges digital design and field execution, assisting constructability reviews and information management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM coordination or related field experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and ACC.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and clash resolution.
• Familiarity with reality capture and AS-built modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other project disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, identify coordination conflicts, and facilitate resolution with design and construction teams.
• Support BEP development, modeling standards, and coordination workflows.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, document issues, assign actions, and track resolutions.
• Review models for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with prefabrication and construction teams to support fabrication and installation sequencing.
• Maintain model organization, version control, and document management in the CDE.
• Support model-based quantity takeoffs and Advanced Work Packaging activities.
• Collaborate to integrate reality capture, field verification, and as-built information into BIM models.

About The Role

Hansen Consulting Group (HCG) is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the coordination, integration, and execution of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows across complex construction projects. This role works closely with engineering, design, construction, prefabrication, and QA/QC teams to ensure models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements. The BIM Coordinator will help bridge the gap between digital design and field execution, supporting constructability, clash resolution, and effective information management throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other project disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, identify coordination conflicts, and facilitate resolution with design and construction teams.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), modeling standards, and coordination workflows.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, document issues, assign action items, and track resolutions through completion.
• Review models for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with prefabrication and construction teams to ensure models support fabrication, installation sequencing, and field execution.
• Maintain model organization, version control, and document management within the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Support model-based quantity takeoffs, installation planning, and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) activities.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to integrate reality capture, field verification, and as-built information into BIM models.
• Monitor BIM deliverables, coordination milestones, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline digital project workflows.
• Support project teams in utilizing BIM technologies to improve communication, reduce rework, and enhance construction quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, VDC, construction modeling, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and performing clash detection and resolution.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, MEP systems, building systems, and installation sequencing.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, model coordination standards, and Common Data Environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects preferred.
• Understanding of prefabrication workflows, constructability reviews, and model-to-field coordination.
• Familiarity with reality capture technologies, point clouds, and as-built modeling is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, Advanced Work Packaging, and digital construction workflows is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, track coordination issues, and meet project deadlines.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

108,000 - 160,000 USD per year(Indiana)
