Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking a BIM Coordinator to partner with project teams and ensure continuity of project documentation. You will apply firm BIM standards, tools, and workflows, serving as a first-line resource on BIM execution.

Role involves content creation, coordination with consultants, clash detection, and mentoring teams in new processes. Hybrid work in CA and other offices supports career growth.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.Arch is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Revit/BIM experience in architecture or AEC.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and service mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a team environment.
  • Foundational BIM standards, worksharing, and document management knowledge (Forma).
  • Familiarity with Dynamo or Grasshopper preferred; Revit API interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support project documents and quality control; build BIM content and coordinate with consultants.
  • Drive content creation; review external Revit content and maintain libraries.
  • Participate in BIM tasks from kickoff to development.
  • Set BIM execution plan with principals and project leaders.
  • Collaborate on model coordination and clash detection; provide BIM QC services.
  • Share knowledge and mentor teams in new processes and tools.
  • Coordinate efficient use of digital project documentation tools.
  • Maintain project templates and training resources.
  • Ensure BIM standards and project data quality for designs and drawings.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts in Digital Practice.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to partner with project teams to ensure continuity and consistency of the project documentation process. This role applies established firm standards, tools, and workflows to day-to-day project delivery and serves as a first-line resource for project teams on Building Information Modeling (BIM) execution.

RESPONSIBILITES
  • Support project document and quality control: build custom BIM content, coordinate projects with consultant teams, and maintain model health protocols.
  • Drive firm content creation; review and implement external Revit content and maintain firm libraries.
  • Participate in the kick-off, coordination, and development of specific BIM tasks on projects.
  • Coordinate with Principals and Project Architects/Project Leaders to set the BIM execution plan (BxP) according to the project implementation plan.
  • Collaborate with project teams on model coordination and clash detection: facilitate project coordination through clash detection and BIM Quality Control (QC) services.
  • Share knowledge and mentor project teams in the implementation of new processes and design tools: assist in executing firm-wide training.
  • Coordinate the efficient and consistent use of digital tools for project documentation
  • Maintain project templates and training resources.
  • Ensure the quality of digital content for both design presentations and construction documents: manage BIM standards and organize project data on a project level.
  • Participate in crucial organizational R&D efforts, regarding advanced technologies within Digital Practice.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is required.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in Revit/BIM within architecture or AEC production.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a service mindset toward project teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of BIM standards, worksharing, and document management platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma).
  • Knowledge of visual-based script platforms such as Dynamo or Grasshopper is preferred.
  • Interest in the Revit Application Programming Interface (API) is desired.
